New Terra Compliance Director of Fire Safety attends FIA AGM and Lunch

Our Director of Fire Safety, Dan Jackson, recently had the pleasure of attending the Fire Industry Association’s (FIA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Lunch. This prestigious event brought together over 560 fire industry professionals for a day of insightful updates, networking opportunities, and well-deserved recognition.

The AGM provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the FIA’s achievements over the past year, highlighting key initiatives and future goals. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear firsthand about the work the FIA is doing to advance fire safety standards.

Following the AGM, guests were treated to a three-course meal and an entertaining performance by comedian Seann Walsh. The event also included the presentation of two prestigious awards:

Young Technician of the Year: Awarded to Rio Brown of SA Fire and Security Systems Ltd.

FIA Lifetime Achievement Award: Presented to Nick Coombe of the London Fire Brigade and National Fire Chiefs Council.

Dan thoroughly enjoyed the event, commenting, “This event is a highlight of the year, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow fire industry professionals.
